Dr. Rabie Mahmoud is an independent researcher and a distinguished expert in cryptography, quantum computing, with a deep focus on applications in space communication and technology. With a Ph.D. in Computational Sciences specializing in Cryptography, Dr. Mahmoud has spent his career designing and implementing advanced encryption systems—particularly through hardware-based solutions on System-on-Chip (SoC) and Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) platforms. His research is centered on quantum and post-quantum cryptographic algorithms, emphasizing the development of secure, quantum-resistant protocols for use in space systems, satellite communications, and aerospace networks. Dr. Mahmoud remains at the forefront of cryptographic research for space systems, working toward a future of secure, resilient communication in orbit and beyond.
