Prof. Gengxin Xie is the Deputy President of Center of Space Exploration, Ministry of Education, China, the Director of Space Science and Technology Research Institute, Chongqing University, China, the President of Chongqing Astronomical Society, China, and the Executive Editor-in-Chief of international OA published journal - Space Habitation (ISSN:2950-6166), etc. He has been delved into the researches of space environment, health and safety and space structure technology for more than 20 years. As the chief designer of the biological science experiment payload of the Chang’e-4 mission, he led the team to solve six key technical problems and successfully grew the first ever green leaf on the moon.
